For those of you who may not have already heard the soulful sounds of Alexis Nicole, take note because she's makin' moves in the entertainment industry!

Her sound is influenced by elements of gospel, rhythm and blues, and neo-soul combined to create a unique mixture of her very own. Recognized by industry execs, DJ's, artists, and the like as one of the brightest up and coming multi-talented singer/songwriters in the industry, she has most recently been nominated for two SEA awards for Indy Album of the Year and Indy R&B Album of the year.

Inspired by greats such as Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Monica, India Arie, and Alicia Keys, the 23 year old Richmond, Virginia artist has created her own artistic edge and distinctive confidence. "I've never been a quitter. This is all I've ever wanted to do, this is all I have." she says.

FACE OFF - The Mixtape

The upcoming mixtape Face-Off "... is just a statement to let the world know that I am capable of more than just Neo-Soul music. Its fun, fresh, and commercial. The next project entitled Love Story EP is going to be recorded live, and is what I like to call the soundtrack to emotion because the songs deal with the fact that being in Love is not a fairytale; you have to endure ups and downs and everything else that comes along with it."
