The Dreamworks film How to Train Your Dragon (PG), now available on DVD (October 15, 2010) is one of the cutest and best animated movies I have seen ...and I'm a big fan of animated films!

From start to finish How to Train Your Dragon is a special movie, with an endearing cast of characters and a story line that just flat out works, and works well. There wasn't one point in the movie where I wasn't engaged or emotionally drawn in (you'll definitely want to make use of the pause button for bathroom breaks!).

The casting behind the film is impeccable. From Jay Baruchel as Hiccup himself, to Gerard Butler - Hiccup's father, Craig Furguson - the seasoned warrior, recruiter, and trainer, and America Ferrara, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz, TJ Miller, and Kristen Wiig as Hiccup's fellow students, not one of these characters doesn't fit!

How to Train Your Dragon is set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons, and based on the book by Cressida Cowell, the action comedy tells the story of Hiccup, a Viking teenager who doesn’t exactly fit in with his tribe’s longstanding tradition of heroic dragon slayers. Hiccup’s world is turned upside down when he encounters a dragon that challenges he and his fellow Vikings to see the world from an entirely different point of view.

Incredibly endearing and loveable, this movie is perfect for the entire family! And for parents with children that don't always fit in, who may be an underdog or an outsider in some way, this movie is a must see. It proves that you don't always have to fit the mold in order to do great things!

I give it an A+ | 5 stars, and would highly recommend it to everyone!
